- Approximately 800 hours of continuing education in education have been taken in many facets of teaching over the last 8 years.
- Approximately 600 hours of continuing education in chiropractic have been performed in the last 20 years. Only 320 hours were required during this time frame.
- HOSA State and International Conference- Gaylord Opryland- June 2016. 4 students made it to the international conference, two student earned 6th place in CPR/First Aid internationally and Dental Science and Nurse Assisting students placed in the top 50.
- Irving Celebration of Excellence Award for Community Service- Largest number of donors in a HOSA blood drives in the State of Texas 548 donors (2015), and 651 donors (2016).
- Educate Texas, T-STEM Educator of the month nominee February 2016.
- HOSA State and National Conference- Disney Land- June 2015. 3 students made it to the national conference, one student placed 2nd in the nation and two students placed in the top 20 in the Nation.
- HOSA State and National Conference- Disney World- June 2014. 6 students made it to the national conference, two students placed in the top 20 and four students placed in the top 50 in the Nation.
- HOSA TX State Conference- San Antonio, TX- April 2013. 25 students made it to the State Finals. The top students placed 5th in the State of Texas.
- HOSA State and National Conference- Disney World- June 2012. 24 students made it to the State Finals. 2 students made it to the national conference. One student won the silver medal in Veterinary Science, and the other got 7th place in the Nation in Medical Math.
- HOSA TX State Conference- Corpus Christi, TX- April 2011. 1 student advanced to the Biotechnology finals.
